Situated two miles from Tomintoul, Croughly Cottage is the 16th century wing of the farmhouse. It has been carefully restored yet still retains a great amount of character from the past.

The cottage has stunning views to the Cairngorm National Park Mountains. Deer can be seen grazing quietly by the Conglass river. Buzzards fly high above the farm. The Speyside Way is within easy reach , part of it passing through the farm. Cattle and sheep graze the green fields that produce stock to the highest quality.

Your stay at Croughly can be to chill - out and retreat to a beautiful part of the country, or for the more sporty minded there are numerous excellent golf courses within easy reach. The world famous Glenlivet Distillery where you can have a guided tour, and a free dram is only a short distance away. The Lecht Ski centre is 15 mins drive. Tomintoul has its own Post Office, 3 Hotels, 2 Restaurants, Health Centre and Garage.

Croughly can accomodate upto 5 people which consists of double room and twin room with camp bed. Bathroom with heated towel rail, cosy lounge/dining room with electric heating and open fire, satellite TV (incl sky sports & setanta), DVD player, kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
