Mountain Biking

Mountain bikers can enjoy a network of waymarked cross country cycle trails that have opportunities for all abilities. One even climbs to the summit of Cairn Diamh offering a stunning panorama of the Cairngorms.

Skiing

In winter downhill and Nordic skiing are available at the Lecht and in nearby Glenmulliach forest, while the Ladder and Cromdale Hills provide challenging cross country skiing.

Fishing

The Glenlivet Estate provides superb fly fishing on the river Avon, a major tributary of the Spey. The Avon is renowned for the quality of the salmon and trout fishing that can be enjoyed along it's reaches. Fishing permits for brown trout and sea trout are available locally.

Scottish Highland Golf

Golfing enthusiasts will find a selection of challenging and scenically stunning courses nearby, many of which were designed by some of the best known names in the sport. There are golf courses at Ballindalloch, Dufftown, Grantown on Spey and Nethy Bridge.
