Welcome to Tomintoul
The highest village in the Highlands. Situated at the centre of the Glenlivet estate the pretty village of Tomintoul was laid out in 1776. A small museum in the square has fascinating information
about the local area and life in Glenlivet during the past.
Despite a rich cultural and historical heritage time has not passed us by. Here you will
find all the modern necessities of life including well
stocked friendly shops and a full range of local services. Good accommodation is available in the village including
hotels, bed & breakfasts and self catering holiday cottages.

The community welcomes visitors and traditional
courtesies remain, in an area where there is still a sense
